Anyone wanna tell me what's wrong with this kid?

Im only 18 and still don't get why kids do not respect their parents or anyone else for that matter. I honestly think times have changed for the worst. Do you really think this kid would be acting this way if he were punished for his actions? No. My dad tells me stories of when he was younger and a kid would act out like that, that kid was then beaten up. And after sed beating he did not act out again. My dad never beat me when i was bad when i was younger, but he disciplined us with a spanking thats for sure. This kid has obviously gotten away with everything he has ever said and if he was ever "put in his place" through corporal punishment i think we would have a very new little boy on our hands.
