What does ruby port wine taste like?

A nice nip with dessert or a time of respite. Ruby Port is the most basic of port styles. This is made with a blend of red grape varieties and is blended from several years. It should not be aged, and tends to taste of berries, with light tannins. Ruby port is a fresh, young and fruity wine; think lots of red cherries and red fruits.Port aromas include pepper, smoke, truffles and black currant.
